The new pellet plant which will be the biggest in Europe with total capacity of 1000 000 tons of pellets per year from Leningrad region of Russia is postponed the start-up of the pellet mill till February 2011

As President of the Vyborgskaya Cellulose Alexsey Kazmin said the adjustment are in the process. First pellets should be produced in February 2011.
“There is no main problem of postpone, but there are a lot of small reasons why we are not in time”, - said Mr. Kazmin. At the same time a lot of work was done during one year. The pellet mill was constructed as well as the own harbor is installed. The main equipment supplier is Andritz. The pellet trader is Ekman. These are both Swedish companies.
