Arnold Dale, vice president bioenergy of the Ekman & Co AB said to the INFOBIO that «this week another vessel will be loaded in their own port”. He also added that “Every day they are also receiving deliveries of round wood in to their own port. These deliveries are being made by one of the 8 STK river vessels which “Vyborgskaya Cellulose” bought recently».

Pellet plant was built on «Vyborgskaya Cellulose” in 2010. It is the biggest pellet plant in Europe with total annual capacity of 1 000 000 tons of wood pellets. It is situated in p.Sovetsky in Leningrad region near the border with Finland (European Union).
Pellets are produced on line 1at the moment with the annual capacity of 500 000 tons. The scond line with the same capacity is expected to be in operation in September 2011. All equipment is produced by Andritz.
