Brazilian pulp producer Suzano invests $800 million in pellet production

Three pellet mills each of 1 million tons will be built between 2013-2014 in the north east of Brazil. All pellets will be exported to European power stations.

Eucalyptus energy plantations will be used for the pellet production. These forest are based on the selection of specific clones, plantation of more trees per hectare and reduced harvesting cycle.
Suzano earlier announced investments in new pulp production for 4 billion dollar.
